Calling Bullshit

I’d like to point out a few items all at once to get this up and running.

1. The official story of the events 9/11 is factually incorrect. It is incorrect whether you believe 9/11 was an inside job or not. What time was Dick Cheney in the bunker? There are at least three different times. One in the Commission report, another from Dick Cheney and a third from Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta.
2. Van Halen was actually better with Sammy Hagar than David Lee Roth (Ed. Note: No way!)
3. Lance Armstrong probably used performance enhancing drugs at some point in his career. So many riders have used some type of drug what would make Lance Armstrong any different?
   
4. The official story of the Gulf of Tonkin is totally wrong. Look it up.
5. The Federal Reserve is a private bank. It is out to make money for the banks that own it and not to help the American people.
6. Wayne’s World 2 is actually a funny movie
7. The U.S. planned and carried the systematic removal of Mohammed Mosaddeq from power in Iran in 1953, because he nationalized the oil. Perhaps that’s why Iran isn’t a fan of us.
8. People don’t really want change
9. Illegal immigrants actually help our economy
10. White people have privileges in this country based solely on the color of our skin.
    

That is all, for now.

If you google the phrase “obama exotic“, you get all kinds of hits talking about Obama’s years overseas, how he might be a muslim, and issues of race. The thing is, the term “exotic” is nothing more than a thinly-veiled codeword designed to clue in the electorate that Obama is not “one of us”. It is at best xenophobic and at worst racist. If you don’t like Obama because he is a black man, have the guts to say so. If you don’t like him because he went to an Islamic school, speak your mind honestly. Don’t rely on linguistic subterfuge as a way to propagate racism and ignorance in the United States.

Welcome to Calling Bullshit. If you are a sentient being, you are aware that the world is chock full of bullshit. Unfortunately, the mainstream media and much of the “alternative” media don’t do enough to call the bullshitters out in a public forum. In fact, they are often the purveyors of bullshit themselves. That’s where we come in.

The subject matter here will be as eclectic as our writers. Right now, there are just a few of us but that number will grow as time passes. The point of this endeavor, dear reader, is that if you don’t call bullshit when confronted with it, you become a part of the problem instead of being part of the solution.
